FAQ

What are the advantages of having a metal roof?
Metal roofs are fire retardant, light weight and particularly energy efficient. They can be provided in an extensive range of colours.

If I install a new colorbond roof will that appreciate the value of my property?
Yes, the installation of a new colorbond roof on an already existing home is without a doubt classed as a capital investment and will automatically add value to your property and can lower insurance.

What inconvenience to my living arrangements or place of business will there be whilst the roof is being renewed?
To date we have never had to relocate anybody from their home or place of business due to the installation of a new roof. So as a rule any inconvenience is limited only to the on-site works in which case we make every provision to accommodate the client’s needs.

Can Metal roofing save money on Energy bills?
Metal roofing doesn’t retain as much heat as other roofing materials because it reflects the majority of the sun’s rays. This means that metal roofing in combination with an anticon wool blanket will keep your roof space cooler longer, significantly reducing your energy bills.

Do you remove the rubbish when the roofing job is completed?
All the roofing waste and rubbish will be removed and your property will be left as it was before the roofing work started. All the old metal and offcuts of metal are recycled, ensuring we are doing our bit for the environment.

What happens if the weather turns bad while my roof is being replaced?
At Kerrect Roofing we never uncover more of the roof than we can finish in a day, therefore, ensuring we can cover up any open roof quickly and easily if it starts to rain. If we have not started your roof and the weather is predicted to rain, we will just delay the start until the rain has passed.
